Looking online, there is no workable update for Quicken, either. I hope some professor will note this for the Business Ethics class.
I'm sure that must have come as a complete surprise to the executives at Intuit - Apple upgrading their OS? Who knew that would happen? Or d'ya think they waited to announce this on purpose?Ĭalling their customer service line, after 20 minutes on hold I reached a snarky rep who told me the only thing to do was to pay them - the company takes no responsibility for this whatsoever, it just wants your money. This morning (one week late) Intuit sent out an email announcing that all their customers have to update to Quickbooks for Mac 2016 to use Sierra. Now Quickbooks Desktop for Mac 2015 will no longer function. I installed it yesterday on our nonprofit's computer.
Updating to the latest Mac OS 10.12 Sierra breaks this software! Apple released this update on September 20. ALERT FOR QUICKBOOKS AND QUICKEN USERS!!!
